Skybok recently filmed the video profile of a new brewery in Fredericksburg, Texas. Altstadt Brewery also wanted videos on both the history of the German “Purity Laws” also known as the “The Reinheitsgebot” according to which they brew their beer, and an explainer video on the difference between Lager +Kölsch. Altstadt has a growing community on Facebook + Twitter, where the videos have been well-received by patrons. The videos are also up on Skybok’s YouTube Channel here. Skybok did some great shoots of the facility, and took some candid photos of the six packs amidst the iconic wildflowers of the Texan Hill Country. We shot Chart Rose Farm’s video profile over the weekend. It’s a divine coffee terrace and rose picking farm in Constantia, Cape Town. As the only place in the Cape Peninsula where you can select and pick your own roses, Chart Farm offers a unique experience for visitors. The Coffee Terrace serves teas, cakes, breakfasts and lunches. Along with the magnificent views of the Constantia Valley, it’s a great meeting place. Open daily from 9:00am – 4:30pm, the farm stall alongside the terrace offers fresh farm produce (in season), including lemons, limes, grapes, chestnuts and vegetables.

I love shooting fun & interesting places, which is why a quirky frozen yoghurt bar in Newlands, Cape Town, peaked my interest!

A relatively new brand in South Africa, they have quickly become a very popular hangout spot for both students & professionals alike. It’s a great place to hang out with friends, and I was so pleased to be involved in shooting their video profile for them.

50 froyo’s and a few brain-freezes later, we are happy with the finished product! It was a lot of fun & we’ll definitely be going back for more of the good stuff!

Wakaberry is a unique and interactive self-service, soft-serve frozen yoghurt bar; established in Durban, May 2011. We offer only the best 100% REAL frozen yoghurt which is SUPER LOW IN FAT! The froyo flavours vary from store to store, but customers can expect a wide variety including classics like Strawberry, Vanilla, Mixed Berry and English Toffee and quirkier taste sensations like Green tea, Pomegranate, Kiwi and Watermelon.
