The Grand” is a lovely chic brand of beach cafes in Cape Town, South Africa. If you are visiting this city, you should really go check them out for a gorgeous meal overlooking the water. They are especially great for venues to host parties & functions or even for business meetings. Although they have venues in both Portugal & in Zimbabwe, in Cape Town, they have two. These are namely, “The Grand Cafe and Rooms” in Camps Bay & “The Grand Cafe & Beach” in Granger Bay, also along the coastline. Set within a restored warehouse, paying tribute to our eco policy, we are positioned on a private beach in Granger Bay. Grand Café & Beach is part of Cape Town’s V&A Waterfront and faces Table Bay with the Green Point Stadium, Signal Hill and Table Mountain forming a unique backdrop.

Elegant simplicity is the setting of Grand Café, Camps Bay. Café-style dining by Executive Chef Sir Greg Baverstock. Local South African wines, desirable Champagnes, Cap Classique and Grand Cocktails, celebrates the magnificence of this beach setting.

SAMREC

I’ve always had a thing for animals. Especially wild, endangered or hurt ones.

Along the coast in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, lies the “South African Marine Bird Rehabilitation and Education Centre”. It’s also known as SAMREC.

We shot their video profile for them and I just remember thinking what a beautiful home and haven the team at SAMREC has created for these birds they find washed up and hurt on PE’s beaches.

The centre’s purpose isn’t just to rescue and rehabilitate, but to also inform and educate the public through their different programs.Tour our marine rehab and education centre and experience nature through sight, sound and touch.

Jeffrey’s Bay is a small beach town in South Africa along the east coast. It’s most famous for its annual international “Billabong Festival“.  We filmed a cute little mexican restaurant at 19 Da Gama Road, whose specialty is Mexican, Grill & Seafood. We enjoyed shooting their profile for them!

An extensive range of cocktails includes the superb Blue Margherita and can be sampled on the deck whilst watching the day’s last waves roll in on J Bays famous beach.

Die Walskipper

I personally love the sea. I love places near the water, and when they offer light meals and drinks to go with the view, I know I’ve struck gold!

Die Walskipper” is a lovely beach bar & restaurant situated along the coast in South Africa’s Jeffrey’s Bay.

The restaurant is situated on Clapton’s Beach between Jeffreys Bay and Aston Bay where “locals” and visitors can enjoy a mouth-watering  array of seafood together with other South African dishes cooked to perfection on the coals.

It’s also a great place to have as a venue for special occasions such as weddings, office functions, birthday parties, club gatherings or any group event for which catering can be pre-arranged according to your special needs.

For best viewing quality, make sure to set the viewing settings to 1080p HD by clicking on the cog at the bottom right-hand corner of the video.

Bordering the waters of Kalk Bay’s gorgeous ocean, The Brass Bell is actually a lot bigger than I realised.

Going there to shoot their profile was enlightening because apart from the main restaurant that we all know and love (The Bikini Deck), there is also the Cabin Bar & Restaurant, The Water’s Edge Restaurant, The Pavilion and the Izannes fine dining restaurant!

Shooting was an absolute dream; the owner is very friendly and we were pleased with the great weather we got!

It’s always packed with people and I can see why.

It’s definitely a hot spot for a functions – birthday parties, cocktail parties or corporate functions – because of the great views, reasonable prices, efficient service and also because the whole area has such a rich history.

Check out their website for more info on opening times and contact details: THE BRASS BELL

Watch their video (at the top) and I guarantee you you’ll be calling them to organize your next get-together! ;)

Located by the seaside in stunning Port Elizabeth, South Africa, the Humewood golf course is a genuine seaside Links, ranked as one of South Africa’s top 20 golf courses and boasts as holding the prestige of being the only true links course in Africa.

Sadly, I don’t play golf. But after shooting their video profile, I think I should definitely give it a bash!

Humewood golf course has one of the world’s most difficult links courses and has hosted the South African open 5 times and the African Amateur 10 times, being ranked the number 10 golf course in South Africa.
