This is a profile of a school in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, called Grey High School for Boys. Established in 1856, Grey High School is an elite school for boys. Its motto is Tria Juncta in Uno meaning ‘three joined in one’ — mind, body and spirit. The school celebrated its 150th jubilee in 2006, when over 600 alumni from around the world attended the 150th birthday celebrations. There are over 880 boys including 140 boarders. The Grey Institute also includes the attached Grey Junior School with roughly 700 pupils. We had a great time filming it!

Simonsig Wine Estate
Skybok filmed the video profile for Simonsig Wine Estate in Stellenbosch, South Africa. Simonsig is located in the heart of the Stellenbosch wine region. Travelling there to film was such a pleasure. We got a beautiful view of the Simonsberg Mountain (after which the wine estate is named), not to mention some even more lovely shots around the estate itself. They are the only wine estate with a working wine cellar, and it was fascinating watching this process!
The Rotary Medieval Festival
Skybok covered events for Rotary PE West as part of their “Medieval Festival”. It’s a whole weekend of festivities themed around the Middle Ages and it’s hosted at Victoria Park in Port Elizabeth. Their “Royal Banquet” is on a Friday night where everyone arrives dressed up in costumes from the Middle Ages. There’s a dinner and lots of entertainment! During the Saturday, they host an entire day filled with arts, crafts and activities that people used to play during Medieval times.
Here are the profiles of this awesome outdoor two-day event:

African Dawn Wildlife Sanctuary
In the heart of a valley, only a stone’s throw away from the hustle and bustle of P.E and Jeffreys Bay lies African Dawn Bird and Wildlife Sanctuary. The park is home to several animals from South Africa and beyond including Cheetah, Servals, Lynx, Squirrels, Marmosets, Squirrel Monkeys, Blue and Common Duikers, Bushbok, Grysbok, Meerkats, Wallabies and a Crocodile. For bird lovers, there are over 250 species of birds indigenous to South Africa and from further afield. Home to the largest aviary in the Eastern Cape, listen to the calls of birds such as the Knysna Loerie, the Laughing Dove and the vibrant Red Bishop. Other birds around the park include the majestic Black Eagle, Blue Cranes, Crowned Cranes, Hornbills, Emu, Lorikeets and Macaws. Visit their wesbsite here.
